A night of delicious, traditional Greek dishes created by our Chefs, served in the beautiful, lantern lit poolside surroundings of our Votsalo restaurant with views out to the Ionian Sea and the surrounding islands of Kefalonia. After, take to the floor to dance the rest of the night away or relax on one of the poolside sofas or around the The Firepit whilst enjoying a cocktail...or two!

The Emelisse Art Hotel, Fiscardo, Kefalonia has just recovered from a fun weekend of fine food and fine wine that culminated in an energetic display of Brazilian Zouba dancing.
The weekend of the 20th – 22nd May started with a slightly more relaxing approach, with Yoga and Pilates classes conducted in the perfect surroundings of the hotels new area ‘I Thea’ (The View - affording spectacular views across to Ithaca and the surrounding coastline) and The Fire Pit. Participants were able to practise the ancient exercise arts as the sun rose majestically above the mountains of Ithaca, bathing the areas in a beautiful morning light, adding to the serenity of the areas and the relaxation of the participants.
And, after all of that exercise, what a better way to refuel and re-couperate than with a veritable feast of traditional Kefalonian dishes created by Mrs Christopolou, all complemented by fine wines from the world renowed Kefalonian winery of Gentilini, each personally introduced by one of the producers, Petros Markatonatos – all served on Kinema Terrace.
Amongst all the exercise, fun and festivities was the opportunity for guests to reflect on Kefalonia’s historical and turbulent past, with a viewing of Mrs Christopoulo’s archive of original black and white photos of Kefalonia post 1953 earthquake – a poignant reminder of how much the island has re-invented itself and now embraces all cultures from across the world.

The Emelisse’s special May programme of events concludes on the weekend of the 27th – 29th May with special guests from the famous Carnival of Patras... an event not to be missed!
